The game started off with both pitchers dealing, keeping the game scoreless through six innings. Nico Hoerner, Michael Busch, and Seiya Suzuki struggled to find their rhythm against the D-Backs’ hurler. Meanwhile, our pitcher was lights out, striking out the side in the top of the 1st inning and keeping their bats quiet.Diamondbacks Strike First in the 7th 
Eugenio Suárez broke the deadlock with a solo shot to left field in the top of the 7th, giving the Diamondbacks a 1-0 lead. Our bullpen held strong after that, but the pressure was on!Cubs Respond in the 9th, Fans Go Wild! 
Nico Hoerner got things started in the bottom of the 9th with a clutch double. After advancing to third, Seiya Suzuki came through with a timely single to bring Hoerner home and tie the game at 1-1! The crowd was electric, but we couldn't push across the winning run, sending the game into extras.Heroics in the 10th! 
Mike Tauchman started the rally with a walk, followed by intentional walks to load the bases. After a gutsy bunt single by Miguel Amaya, Hoerner stepped up again and drew a crucial walk, pushing Tauchman home for the winning run! What a way to end it, with the Cubs celebrating a hard-fought 2-1 victory.Closing Thoughts
