Heartbreaker at Oracle Park 
What a roller coaster of a game! Despite a gallant effort from our boys, the San Francisco Giants fell short, losing 8-7 to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The game was electrifying, but ended in a heartbreaking fashion.Tough Start in the First Inning 
The D-backs wasted no time. After a single by Geraldo Perdomo and a double from Corbin Carroll, the Diamondbacks quickly took a three-run lead with a Josh Bell RBI groundout and a two-run homer by Randal Grichuk. Mike Yastrzemski walked to lead off for us in the bottom half, and Tyler Fitzgerald doubled, setting the stage for Heliot Ramos' sacrifice fly that brought Yastrzemski home. However, we still trailed 3-1.Big Bats and Missed Chances in Later Innings 
As the game progressed, both teams continued to swing the bats aggressively. Matt Chapman delivered a towering homer in the 6th inning to give us some hope. The D-backs added another run with a solo homer by Grichuk and two more on a clutch single by Kevin Newman.In the 8th inning, Yastrzemski hit a solo homer, further closing the gap to 7-3. A series of hits and errors saw our Giants score four more runs, cutting the deficit to just one run. The lineup clawed it back to a thrilling 8-7 scoreline.
Nail-Biting Final Inning 
The top of the 9th wasn't kind to us, as the D-backs managed to score an insurance run with Carroll capitalizing on two stolen bases and Christian Walker driving him in. Heading into the bottom of the 9th, we still had a fighting chance.Yastrzemski led off with a single and, with two outs, Ramos doubled, bringing Yastrzemski home. But the rally ended abruptly when Jerar Encarnacion struck out swinging with the tying run on base.
Final score: Diamondbacks 8, Giants 7.
