Braves Overcome Twins in Extra-Inning Thriller! ​

What a nail-biter at Target Field, folks! Our Atlanta Braves clinched a thrilling 8-6 win against the Minnesota Twins in a drama-filled game that went into extra innings.

Early Lead Thanks to Michael Harris II ​

The game began on a quiet note but got interesting in the 2nd inning when Matt Olson doubled to left and Michael Harris II followed with a massive home run! That put us up 2-0 right off the bat.

More Runs in the 5th​

We extended our lead in the 5th inning. Ramon Laureano singled, moved to third after an Orlando Arcia walk, and both executed a double steal! Then, Marcell Ozuna knocked in both Laureano and Arcia with a clutch single to put us up 4-0.

Twins Rally Back ​

The Twins didn't go quietly, though. They stormed back in the 7th inning, thanks to key hits from Trevor Larnach, Matt Wallner, and Edouard Julien, trimming our lead to just one run. They eventually tied it up at 4-4 in the 8th inning on an RBI single by Larnach.

Into extra innings we went! Marcell Ozuna set the tone with a double, and Luke Williams ran for him. Olson brought Kelenic in to score, and Travis d'Arnaud added another RBI single to keep the momentum rolling. Ramon Laureano then delivered a 2-run double, sealing the deal!

Despite some late attempts by the Twins, our bullpen held firm. Michael Harris II displayed incredible outfield prowess, securing crucial catches in the bottom of the 10th to ensure our 8-6 victory.
