An Electric Start!

What a game, Fish fans! The Marlins overcame a shaky start and delivered a thrilling victory against the Orioles, winning 6-3. The first inning had its ups and downs, with Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Bryan De La Cruz striking out swinging. Jake Burger did manage a single, but Josh Bell grounded into a fielder's choice, ending the inning with the score 0-1 in favor of the Orioles.Game-Tying Blast! 
The real excitement began in the second inning. Jesus Sanchez stepped up and hammered a 429-foot homer to right field, tying the game at 1-1! This was just the spark we needed. Otto Lopez followed up with a single and a stolen base, then moved to third on a throwing error. Xavier Edwards walked, setting the stage for Nick Gordon to drive in Lopez with a single. With Ali Sanchez’s sacrifice, Gordon and Edwards advanced. Then, Chisholm Jr. doubled to bring both runners home, giving us a solid 4-1 lead!Holding the Line 
The Orioles fought back, reducing our lead to 4-3 in the third inning, despite some nerve-wracking moments with Ryan O’Hearn and Colton Cowser driving in runs. But the Marlins were resilient! Bell and Sanchez started the bottom of the third with singles, and thanks to a sacrifice fly from Edwards and a groundout by Gordon, we brought the score to 6-3.Shutdown Mode! 
The rest of the game turned into a pitching clinic by our bullpen! Nardi, Puk, and Scott were lights out, preventing any further damage and keeping the Orioles scoreless. Rutschman, Santander, Henderson, and others were left swinging at air or grounding out. The final three innings were particularly impressive, with Scott nailing the door shut by striking out Cowser and Mountcastle, and then getting Urías to ground out.Victory Celebration! 
This was an excellent display of teamwork and determination by the Miami Marlins! From Sanchez’s early homer to Chisholm Jr.’s clutch double and our bullpen’s dominance, we showed the Orioles we are a force to be reckoned with. Let’s celebrate this 6-3 win and hope for many more to come. Go Fish!
