Vientos Powers Mets to Victory! ⚾🎉

As a die-hard Mets fan, last night's game against the Reds felt like an emotional rollercoaster, but we came out on top! The Mets managed to secure a thrilling extra-innings win with a final score of 6-4.

Hot Start in the First Inning 💥

The game kicked off with a bang, thanks to a brilliant start by our boys. Francisco Lindor got things rolling with a single to right. After Brandon Nimmo was caught looking, Mark Vientos delivered a massive 368-foot homer to left, bringing in Lindor and setting the tone early with a 2-0 lead.

Reds Fight Back in the 4th 🌪️

The Reds weren't going to back down easy. In the top of the 4th, Elly De La Cruz responded with an incredible 413-foot homer, tying the game at 2-2. That definitely got our nerves on edge!

Mets Regain Control in the 6th 💪

The bottom of the 6th inning was a turning point. Pete Alonso doubled to right, followed by a clutch single by Jose Iglesias that brought Alonso home. J.D. Martinez kept the momentum going with another single, driving in Iglesias and putting us back on top, 4-2.

Heart-Stopping 7th Inning 💔

Just when we thought we had the game under control, the Reds struck back. TJ Friedl hit a two-run homer to right, evening the score once more at 4-4. The tension was palpable, but it only made the victory sweeter in the end.

Extra Innings Drama and Vientos' Heroics 🚀

The game carried into extra innings, and the suspense was killing us. Yoan López kept the Reds at bay in the top of the 10th. Then came the moment of the night. With Brandon Nimmo on base, Mark Vientos stepped up and launched a 401-foot homer to left, securing the win for the Mets with a final score of 6-4.
