Tigers Win a Tight One! 
Hey Tigers fans! What a nail-biter we had today against the Guardians, pulling out a close 1-0 victory. Here’s the rundown of how our boys got it done.Stellar Pitching
The story today was our pitching staff putting on a clinic. Our guys were phenomenal, holding the Guardians scoreless through nine innings! Can we give a standing ovation for that effort?
Early Innings
Both teams started off slow, with neither the Tigers nor the Guardians managing to score. Our defense and pitching were flawless in the first three innings. Special shoutout to Javier Baez and Zach McKinstry for their solid fielding.Tension Building
The game remained scoreless until the 8th inning. Our lineup fought hard but struggled to string together hits. In the 5th inning, Javier Baez did manage a double to left but unfortunately was left stranded.The Big Break
It wasn’t until the bottom of the 8th that the magic happened. Jake Rogers started us off with a double to left. Wenceel Perez followed with a single to center, advancing Rogers to third. Then, after Colt Keith's walk, Mark Canha grounded into a fielder's choice which allowed Rogers to score thanks to an error by the Guardians' shortstop.
This was the crucial moment that put us ahead.Closing It Out
Top of the 9th was nerve-racking, but Miller shut the door by striking out Bo Naylor, getting Steven Kwan to fly out, and Angel Martinez grounding out to first. And just like that, the Tigers secured a 1-0 victory over the Guardians!
Final Thoughts
This win was a total team effort. Kudos to our pitchers for keeping a clean sheet and to our batters for pushing through and making it count when it mattered most. Onward and upward, Tigers fans! Let's keep this momentum going!
