Another Great Win For The Tigers! 🎉

Hey Tigers fans! 🐯 What a thrilling game we had against the Mariners. Our boys walked away with a strong 4-2 victory. Here's the full recap for those who missed it.

Strong Defense Start 💪

In the first two innings, we saw some dominant defense from both sides. Special shoutout to our pitchers for keeping the Mariners hitters on a tight leash. We managed to keep the game scoreless and showed solid defensive skills, including a double play that wiped out Victor Robles in the bottom of the first.

Tigers Break Through in the 4th! 🧹

The fourth inning was when things started heating up. Wenceel Perez singled to right and eventually made it to third thanks to solid play by Justyn-Henry Malloy and Bligh Madris. Then, Parker Meadows drove in the first run with a clutch single to center, getting Perez home. Tigers up 1-0!

Adding More RunS in the 5th Inning 🚀

Our bats continued delivering in the fifth. Zach McKinstry and Javier Baez both singled to get on base, and Colt Keith hit a crucial single to drive in McKinstry. The action didn’t stop there as Wenceel Perez singled to right, bringing Baez home. This outstanding offense stretched our lead to 3-0. Although the Mariners got one back with a solo homer by Luke Raley, we still felt the momentum.

Parker Meadows’ Solo Homer 💥

Parker Meadows had one of the highlights of the game with a magnificent 415-feet homer to right field in the eighth inning, pushing our lead to 4-1. What a way to silence the Mariners’ fans in Seattle!

Keeping the Mariners at Bay 🌊

Despite a late push by the Mariners in the 9th, our bullpen stepped up when it mattered most. Cade Marlowe did manage to score once for Seattle, bringing it to 4-2, but Tyler Holton came in clutch and shut the door with a strikeout to end the game. What a relief performance!

Final Thoughts ✨

Big props to our pitchers for maintaining composure and clinical precision, and major applause for our hitters who came through in the key moments. This 4-2 win underscores the resilience and determination of our team. Can’t wait to see this momentum carried forward to the next game!

Go Tigers! 🐯⚾
