Tigers On Top In An Extra-Inning Thriller 
What a spectacular game for the Detroit Tigers as they battled through 11 intense innings to clinch a 3-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners! 
The game kept us on the edge of our seats from the first pitch to the last, finally tipping in favor of the Tigers thanks to some late heroics by Zach McKinstry.Pitcher's Duel and Clutch Hits
The game began as a classic pitcher's duel, with both teams trading scoreless innings. In the bottom of the 4th, the Mariners’ Julio Rodríguez broke the deadlock with a monstrous homer to center field. But the Tigers quickly responded in the 5th inning. Kerry Carpenter came through in a big way, launching a 409-foot homer to right center that brought Parker Meadows home, flipping the score to 2-1 in our favor.
Drama in the Later Innings and Extra-Inning Heartstopper
The Mariners managed to tie the game 2-2 in the 6th as Julio Rodríguez continued to be a thorn in our side. But despite the nervy nerves, our bullpen held firm. It wasn't until the top of the 11th that Spencer Torkelson took advantage of a wild pitch to get into scoring position, setting the stage for Zach McKinstry's clutch single that brought Torkelson home for the game-winning run!
We have to give a nod to the fantastic finish by K. Montero who shut down the Mariners in the bottom of the 11th to seal the win.
