What a thrilling game it was! The Astros showed grit and determination to secure a 4-2 victory over the Mariners. Here's how it all went down!Early Pitching Duel 
The game started off with both teams' pitchers dominating the lineup. In the first five innings, neither team could put a run on the board. Our bats were relatively quiet with only Jon Singleton doubling in the 2nd, but we just couldn't get him home.Breaking the Ice in the 4th 
Finally, in the 4th inning, we drew first blood. Alex Bregman was hit by a pitch, moved to second on Yainer Diaz's single, stole third, and then scored on an infield single by Jeremy Peña. Our Astros took the lead 1-0!Mariners Respond in the 6th 
The Mariners wouldn't stay quiet for long, though. Julio Rodríguez belted a two-run homer in the bottom of the 6th to give the Mariners a brief 2-1 lead. It was a gut-punch, but our Astros didn't back down!Meyers' Magic in the 7th 
Jake Meyers came up clutch in the 7th inning. After Peña walked, Meyers smashed a homer to right center, putting us back on top 3-2. Way to step up, Jake!Diaz Delivers in the 8th 
The drama continued into the 8th inning. Yainer Diaz hit a solo shot to left, padding our lead to 4-2. It was a crucial insurance run just when we needed it most.Closing It Down 
A strong bullpen performance secured the win for us. Pressly and Hader came in to lock it down. Even though there were some tense moments, including a walk to Jonatan Clase and a hit-by-pitch to Cal Raleigh, the Mariners couldn't capitalize, and Hader got the final out with a strikeout of Luke Raley.Final Thoughts 
This win showcased our resilience and ability to come through under pressure. The Mariners put up a tough fight, but our offense and bullpen were just a bit better today.Well done, Astros! Onto the next one!
