Royals Dominate Pirates for a 5-1 Victory 
What a game, Royals fans! Our boys in blue secured a solid 5-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Let’s delve into how it all went down!First Inning Fireworks: Bobby Witt Jr. Homer 
The game started with a bang as Bobby Witt Jr. launched a 420-foot homer to left center, giving us an early 1-0 lead. The Pirates couldn't respond in their half, leaving us on top.Pitching Duel Dominates Early Innings 
Both teams struggled to get hits, with our defense holding strong. The Pirates couldn't get through our pitching, and it was nail-biting to watch, but our guys kept the lead heading into the 5th inning.Breaking Through in the 5th 
Our offense woke up in the 5th inning. Adam Frazier tripled to right, followed by a Maikel Garcia double to bring him home, extending our lead to 2-0. A sacrifice fly by Witt Jr. brought another run in, making it 3-0. The Pirates managed to score once, but we stayed ahead at 3-1.Seizing Control in the 6th & 7th Innings 
We capitalized on Pirates’ defensive errors in the 6th, with Michael Massey scoring on an error. Then, Massey doubled in the 7th, followed by Bobby Witt Jr.'s double to bring another run home, making it 5-1. A comfortable lead!Locking It Down

Our bullpen was rock solid. Schreiber, Long, McArthur, Bubic, and Erceg all kept the Pirates at bay. Despite a few threats, we didn't let them chip away at our lead. Bubic and Erceg combined for crucial strikeouts to close the game.Final Thoughts 
It was an all-around team effort that made the difference today. Bobby Witt Jr. shone brightly with his homer and productive at-bats, and our pitching staff delivered when it mattered most. It’s a great day to be a Royals fan! Onward and upward!
