We had a slow start, with the first inning remaining scoreless despite a promising double by Luis Robert Jr.. Things picked up in the 2nd inning, thanks to Korey Lee crushing a 371-foot homer to left, bringing in Lenyn Sosa and giving us a 2-0 lead.
Mid-Game Tension
The Angels tied it up in the 4th inning when Taylor Ward singled to center, driving in two runs. But no worries, Lenyn Sosa blasted a solo homer in the bottom of the 4th, putting us back on top 3-2.
Then, in the 8th inning, the Angels tied it again due to an infield hit by Michael Stefanic and a bunt single bringing in another run. The pressure was on!Critical Moments
The game remained knotted at 3-3 until the 10th inning. Our relievers like Ellard and Shuster held their ground, preventing the Angels from scoring.The Walk-Off!
The defining moment came in the bottom of the 10th. Miguel Vargas was placed on second as per extra innings rules, and Andrew Benintendi stepped up to the plate. With nerves of steel, Benintendi singled to left field, allowing Vargas to score the winning run.
