Tough Loss at Kauffman Stadium 
Hey Royals fans, we had a rollercoaster of a game today against the Angels. Unfortunately, we couldn't pull off the win, falling 9-5. Let's break down the ups and downs of today's game.Solid Start, Scoreless First Three Innings 
Both teams started strong defensively. While the Angels got runners on base due to some errors, our pitchers kept them from scoring. Shout out to Bobby Witt Jr. for a nice single in the bottom of the 1st. However, we couldn’t capitalize and the first three innings ended scoreless.Action Kicks Off in the 4th and 6th Innings 
The Angels broke the stalemate in the top of the 4th with two runs, but the Royals responded right away! Bobby Witt Jr. doubled, followed by a Vinnie Pasquantino double to bring him home. Hunter Renfroe's single tied it up at 2-2.However, the 6th inning was tough. The Angels scored three more runs, including a solo homer by Neto. Our relief pitchers couldn't stop the momentum, and the Angels took a 5-2 lead.
Fighting Back in the 7th Inning 
We weren't giving up without a fight! In the bottom of the 7th, Garrett Hampson started with a single. Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino continued to shine, both hitting and scoring to cut the Angels' lead to 7-5.Angels Close it Out in the 9th 
In the top of the 9th, the Angels added two more runs, making it 9-5. Despite trying to rally back, we couldn't score in the bottom of the inning. Pinch-hitters MJ Melendez and Michael Massey couldn't get on base, and Bobby Witt Jr. struck out swinging to end the game.Highlights and Looking Forward 
Big shout-out to Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino for their strong performances today. While it wasn’t the result we wanted, there's plenty to be optimistic about with these guys leading the charge. We'll rebound and keep fighting.Stay loud and proud, Royals fans!
