Tough Night for the Braves 
It was a rough one for our Braves last night as we fell to the Dodgers 9-2. Despite taking an early lead, we just couldn't contain the Dodgers' offense in the 9th inning. Here's how it all went down:Strong Start by the Braves 
The Braves managed to break the deadlock in the 3rd inning. After a quiet first two innings, we got on the board with some patient at-bats. Michael Harris II walked, and Jorge Soler reached on catcher's interference. With the bases loaded, Matt Olson walked, scoring Harris II, followed by an infield single by Travis d'Arnaud that brought Soler home, giving us a 2-0 lead. Things were looking bright! 
Dodgers Inch Back
The Dodgers cut the lead in half in the 5th inning; Shohei Ohtani doubled to right, scoring Max Muncy. Our pitcher managed to keep it together until the 7th inning when Ohtani came through again, tying the game with another double to right. It was all squared at 2-2 heading into the final frames.Ninth Inning Meltdown 
Unfortunately, the 9th inning was a disaster for the Braves. Will Smith tripled, and despite getting the next batter out, we chose to intentionally walk Ohtani, which loaded the bases with one out. The floodgates opened from there. Mookie Betts singled, scoring Smith, and some defensive miscues by Jarred Kelenic in left field allowed two more runs to score. The Dodgers piled it on with back-to-back-to-back home runs from Teoscar Hernandez, Tommy Edman, and Max Muncy. By the time we got out of the inning, the score had ballooned to 9-2.
Game Over
The Braves couldn't muster any offense in the bottom of the 9th. Gio Urshela, Whit Merrifield, and Michael Harris II went down in order, sealing the loss. It was a tough way to end what started as a promising game.Looking Ahead 
While this loss was a hard pill to swallow, it's only one game. The Braves have the talent and resilience to bounce back. Let’s hope the boys can regroup and secure a win in the next one. Keep the faith, Braves Country!
