First Inning Fireworks! 💥

We started the game with a bit of a cautious stance but boy, did things ramp up quickly. The Marlins couldn’t get past our pitching even though they had two guys on base early on. When it was our turn, Austin Riley showed them what we’re made of with a massive homer to right, giving us the lead. Then, Matt Olson followed suit with a two-run homer that brought Marcell Ozuna home. What a start! Braves Score: 3, Marlins Score: 0

Solid Defense and More Firepower in the Third Inning

In the second inning, our defense was absolutely stellar, striking out three Marlins batters and keeping them at bay. The Marlins couldn't get their offense going in the third either. Then, Orlando Arcia crushed it with a homer to left in the bottom of the third. Man, Braves Country was electric! Braves Score: 4, Marlins Score: 0

Mid-Game Calm 🧊

The following innings brought some quiet to the storm. Our pitchers and defense were locked in, with some great strikeouts and double plays shutting down the Marlins' attempts to rally. Offensively, we had some hits but couldn't add more to the score. Their defense tightened up, too, so it was a bit of a stalemate for a few innings. Braves Score: 4, Marlins Score: 0

Marlins Scratch the Surface in the Seventh

In the seventh, the Marlins managed to bring in a couple of runs, with Hensley scoring thanks to Jake Burger's single. But our boys held firm, thanks to the relief pitching from Jackson and gang. They only got two runs and couldn't cut deeper into our lead. Braves Score: 4, Marlins Score: 2

Closing Strong 🧹

From there, it was all about shutting them down, and that's exactly what we did. A.J. Minter and Raisel Iglesias came in to close out the game, and they did not disappoint. Iglesias was particularly impressive, getting three quick outs in the ninth to seal the win. Braves Score: 4, Marlins Score: 2

Recap and Looking Forward

What a game! Austin Riley, Matt Olson, and Orlando Arcia were phenomenal with their power hitting today. Our pitching lineup, from starters to relievers, nailed it down perfectly and kept the Marlins from making a serious comeback. The team's chemistry is really showing, and we’re only going to get better from here.

Let's keep riding this momentum, Braves fans! 🐾🔵🔴
