Tough Game for the Marlins 
The Miami Marlins faced off against the Washington Nationals today, and it was a struggle from the start. Despite the best efforts, the Nationals came out on top with a final score of 4-1. Let's break down the game inning by inning.First Inning Woes
We started off with a rocky first inning. Xavier Edwards and Jake Burger both struck out looking, while Connor Norby flied out to right. Then things went downhill as Dylan Crews reached on an infield single, stole second and third, leading to two runs scoring on a costly error by pitcher Cabrera. Not the start we hoped for
.Mid-Inning Struggles
The Marlins couldn't find their rhythm in the second inning either. Jonah Bride, Otto Lopez, and Griffin Conine were retired in order. We did manage to avoid further damage from the Nationals in their half, thanks to a key caught stealing by Nick Fortes.Fourth Inning Spark 
The fourth inning gave us a glimmer of hope when Otto Lopez homered to left center, making it 2-1. Unfortunately, we couldn't build on that momentum as Bride, Conine, and Cristian Pache couldn't get on base after that.Nationals Pull Away
Things got worse in the 7th inning. Luis Garcia Jr. hit a homer to right, extending the Nationals' lead, and they added another run off a fielding error by Xavier Edwards. By the end of the 7th, it was 4-1.Final Push Comes Up Short
We had some chances late in the game. Edwards singled in the 8th, and Jesus Sanchez got a hit in the 9th. However, the Nationals' bullpen held firm, and we couldn't bring any runs across.Final Thoughts 
It was a tough day for our Marlins. The Nationals capitalized on our mistakes and took advantage of their opportunities. Let's hope we can bounce back in the next game and show that Marlins spirit!
