Tough Loss on the Road

Hey Brewers fans, tonight was a nail-biter as our crew faced off against the Washington Nationals. It was a tough 4-3 loss, but there were some exciting moments to keep us on the edge of our seats! 💔⚾

Early Inning Struggles

The Nationals got on the board first with a homer by Luis Garcia Jr. in the bottom of the 1st inning. We managed to keep it close with some solid defensive plays, but we couldn't get the bats going early on.

Mid-Inning Rallies

Andruw Monasterio got things rolling in the 5th with a double, but we couldn't bring him home. The Nationals extended their lead to 4-0 in the 6th after a bases-loaded triple by James Wood. It was a tough blow, but our boys didn't hang their heads.

Late-Inning Drama

Finally, some fireworks! In the 8th inning, Garrett Mitchell and Jackson Chourio both singled, setting up William Contreras, who grounded into a fielder's choice that scored Mitchell. Then, Gary Sánchez hit a massive 444-foot homer to center, trimming the lead to 4-3.

The 9th inning had hopes high when Rhys Hoskins singled and Sal Frelick came in to run, but a double play ended our rally.

Keep your heads up, Brewers fans! We've got more games ahead, and our team is showing plenty of fight. Let’s cheer on the crew in the next one! 💪🔵🟡
