Hot Start for the Padres in the 1st Inning! 💥

What a way to kick things off! Luis Arraez doubled, and although Fernando Tatis Jr. grounded out, it set up Jurickson Profar getting hit by a pitch. The run parade started when Manny Machado singled, bringing home Arraez. Jackson Merrill and Xander Bogaerts followed suit with RBIs, putting us up 4-0. A shoutout to David Peralta for adding another run. This explosive start was just what we needed!

Diamondbacks Push Back, But Padres Hold Strong 🚫

Corbin Carroll homered for the D-backs early, and though they managed to claw back two runs, our defense did a solid job preventing further damage. Shoutout to the pitchers and fielders for keeping their cool under pressure.

Stellar Pitching in the Middle Innings 🎯

From clean innings by Yu Darvish to some great work by our relievers, we kept the Diamondbacks at bay. Despite a hiccup with an error by Manny Machado, our pitchers, including Adrian Morejon and Steven Wilson, ensured the D-backs couldn’t capitalize.

Closing It Out in Style ✨

Jackson Merrill and Luis Arraez remained key all game. Merrill's ground rule double and Arraez’s impressive hitting kept us steady. The 9th inning saw some tension with Carroll getting on base, but Manny Machado kept his cool. Robert Suarez did an excellent job in relief to close it out!

Final Thoughts 🏁

What a win! 5-3 with high-action moments and a strong finish. It's always sweet to beat the Diamondbacks! Special mentions to Luis Arraez for igniting our offense and our pitching crew for weathering the D-backs' storm. Go Padres! 🌟⚾
