Dominant Performance by the Diamondbacks! 
What a game, Diamondbacks fans!
Our boys came out swinging and absolutely crushed the Padres, winning 11-2. This was an all-around team effort highlighted by stellar pitching and some serious power at the plate. Let’s break down the action! 
Slow Start, Big Finish 
The game started quietly for both teams. Through the first three innings, the Padres had a slight edge, leading 1-0 thanks to a double by Elias Díaz that brought Nick Ahmed home. But errors and quiet bats marked the beginning for us.
Fourth Inning Fireworks 
This is where things got exciting! Christian Walker started us off with a double, and soon Randal Grichuk, Eugenio Suárez, and Jake McCarthy followed with key hits.
Gabriel Moreno and Geraldo Perdomo kept the momentum going with their own hits, then Ketel Marte blasted a two-run homer that traveled a whopping 443 feet! By the end of the inning, we were up 6-1. It was a thing of beauty!
Continuing the Onslaught 
The Diamondbacks didn't let up. The fifth inning saw Jake McCarthy drive in another run, and the sixth inning featured a key triple by Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and a solid performance all around, pushing our lead to 8-2.

In the eighth inning, Randal Grichuk hit a two-run homer, cementing our dominance at 11-2. Our pitchers continued to baffle the Padres' batters, and Kevin Newman, fresh into the defensive assignment at second base, helped lock things down.
Thomas, taking over in center field, and McCarthy in left provided seamless transitions to wrap things up effectively.
