Heartbreak in the 10th: Giants Fall to Mariners 6-5
Fellow Giants fans, this one stings!
We had the lead, but we couldn't hold on in the end. Let's break down what happened and where it slipped away.Strong Start by Wade Jr. and Conforto
The game had a promising start with LaMonte Wade Jr. hitting a solo homer in the 1st to give us an early lead. Michael Conforto added to our excitement with a massive 419-foot homer in the 4th inning after Heliot Ramos reached on an infield single. We were up 3-0, feeling good!
Ramos Extends the Lead
In the 6th inning, Heliot Ramos came through again with a two-run shot, sending Wade Jr. home and increasing our lead to 5-1. It seemed like we were cruising, with a solid cushion heading into the late innings.8th Inning Meltdown 
Then came the bottom of the 8th, where everything unraveled. The Mariners rallied with five consecutive hits, tying the game at 5-5. Ty. Rogers and Walker struggled to contain their lineup, allowing them to claw their way back. Tough moment for our bullpen. Missed Opportunities in Extras
We had chances in the 10th with Casey Schmitt running for Andrew Knapp, and Wade Jr. getting intentionally walked, but both Ramos and Conforto struck out swinging. We needed just one timely hit!Walk-off Heartbreak
In the bottom of the 10th, the Mariners took advantage of a pinch runner, Dylan Moore, who managed to steal third after Rojas struck out. Leo Rivas then singled to center, bringing Moore home and sealing it for Seattle.What a heartbreaker, Giants fans. So many great moments from Wade Jr., Ramos, and Conforto, but we couldn't close it out. Let's stay optimistic and hope we bounce back stronger in the next game!
