The game was tightly contested from the very beginning. In the bottom of the 2nd inning, after Justin Turner and Jorge Polanco got on base, Josh Rojas hit a sacrifice fly to bring Turner home, putting us on the board first!
Rangers Take the Lead, Mariners Respond
In the top of the 3rd, the Rangers struck back with Leody Taveras hitting a 2-run homer. However, our own Julio RodrÃguez answered immediately with a solo homer in the bottom half. That’s the way to fire back!
The Rangers managed to pull ahead again in the 5th, thanks to Marcus Semien's 2-run homer, putting them up 4-2.Raleigh and Raley's Magic Moment
Cal Raleigh and Luke Raley brought us back into the game during the bottom of the 5th inning. Raleigh drew a crucial walk, and then Raley blasted a 436-feet homer to center field to tie things up at 4-4! What a hit!
Defensive Showdown and Clutch Finish
The game remained deadlocked through strong defensive plays from both teams. Props to Taylor, Snider, and Muñoz for shutting the Rangers down from the 7th to 9th innings.
In the bottom of the 9th, Victor Robles ignited the fans with a double, followed by a slick steal of third base. With the bases loaded, Randy Arozarena stepped up and delivered the game-winning single to center, scoring Robles. Victory for the Mariners!
