A Quick Start and a Fighting Spirit
What an exhilarating game for our Atlanta Braves as they took on the Toronto Blue Jays at home!
️ Both teams started cautiously in the 1st inning, with no scores on the board. Mauricio Dubón set the tone for the Braves with a single, showing that he was ready to play ball. Unfortunately, Matt Olson struck out swinging, but not to worry—the Braves didn't let it faze them. Mid-Game Comeback Fireworks
The Blue Jays managed to score first in the 2nd inning, but our Braves weren't about to stay quiet for long.
In the 3rd inning, Dubón was instrumental again, stealing second, before tying the game thanks to a sacrifice fly by Austin Riley. The 4th inning brought even more excitement when Dominic Smith smacked a two-run homer, putting us ahead 3-1. What a sight to see! 
Sealing the Victory
The Blue Jays made it interesting by evening the score in the 5th inning, but Braves' resilience shone through. Thanks to a clutch double by Dubón in the 6th, the Braves regained the lead, and Drake Baldwin's single added a couple more runs, stretching the lead to 6-3. The 7th inning was the icing on a delicious cake—Tristin English hit a double that cleared the bases, securing a comfortable 9-5 lead!
Nailing It Down
The bullpen held firm to shut down any comeback attempts from Toronto. Victor Vargas, who relieved Tyler Pilar in the 9th, was the final nail in the coffin for the Blue Jays. Vargas struck out Josh Rivera to end the game in style, and the crowd at Truist Park roared with approval! A 9-5 victory shows the true strength and depth of this Braves team, and we're all smiling ear to ear!
