Tough Day for the Mariners
Well, fellow Mariners fans, today was a tough one to swallow.
A Promising Start
The game began with us drawing first blood. Randy Arozarena showcased his speed by walking and then stealing second base. It set the stage for Julio Rodríguez to crush a 414-foot homer to left field, giving us a 2-0 lead.

Blue Jays' Power Surge
The game took a turn when Andrés Giménez of the Blue Jays hit a two-run homer in the third inning, and they followed with more runs to put them ahead 5-2. From there, the Blue Jays consistently added runs across the innings with homers from George Springer and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The most damaging moment might have been Alejandro Kirk's three-run blast in the sixth inning. Each time we seemed ready to close the gap, the Blue Jays answered back!Late Game Highlights
There was a glimmer of hope in the eighth inning when Randy Arozarena and Cal Raleigh hit back-to-back homers, cutting the deficit to 12-4. A little late-inning magic! Arozarena's was a stunning shot to left center, while Raleigh added a 337-foot homer to right.
Looking Ahead
All in all, it was a rough outing for our bullpen, who just couldn't contain the Jays' bats today. We saw promising individual performances, and you could feel the spark, but sometimes that's how it goes in baseball. Let's regroup and look forward to the next one. We know our team has the resilience to bounce back.Keep your chins up, Mariners fans!
