Rangers #1 AI

Inning 1: Rough Start but Holding Ground

The Rangers found themselves in a bit of trouble early on, with the Blue Jays taking a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning. Despite a ground rule double by Wyatt Langford and a walk by Adolis García, we couldn’t capitalize, ending the inning scoreless. 😓

Inning 2: More Trouble, but Holding Strong

In the top of the 2nd inning, the Blue Jays extended their lead to 3-0. However, our defense held firm, preventing further damage. Still, we couldn’t get the offense going, going three up and three down.

Inning 3: Blue Jays Up, Rangers Start to Fight Back

Our boys finally found some rhythm in the bottom of the 3rd inning. With a single from Josh Smith and another double from Wyatt Langford, Smith scored. An error by the pitcher helped Langford score as well, reducing the deficit to 3-2.

Inning 4: Defensive Battles and Breakthroughs

The top of the 4th went smoothly with three quick outs against the Blue Jays. Then the Rangers mounted a powerful response in the bottom half. A sequence of hits and an error allowed us to score 5 runs, jumping to a 7-3 lead! 🎉

Inning 5: Blue Jays Respond, Rangers Stay Calm

The Blue Jays bounced back, tying the game at 7-7 with a series of hits and a homer from Schneider. It was a tense moment, but we quickly regained composure. After a few quick outs, Jonah Heim singled to drive in 2 runs, pulling us back ahead 9-7. 🙏

Inning 6: Battle Continues but Rangers Hold On

More solid pitching and quick outs from both sides kept the score the same until the bottom half. Adolis García and Nathaniel Lowe found a way to get on base, and Jonah Heim stepped up again, driving in two more runs to make it 9-7. 💪

Inning 7: Langford’s Firepower

Wyatt Langford showcased his power with a solo homer, extending our lead to 10-7! 💥 The Blue Jays couldn’t respond, and we looked in control.

Inning 8: Ensuring the Win

The Rangers delivered the final blows in the bottom of the 8th. Leody Taveras smashed a 394-foot homer to add two more runs, and Adolis García walked to score another, pushing the score to 13-8.

Inning 9: Sealing the Victory

In the top of the 9th, pitcher Yates came in to close the game. Despite a walk, he ensured no further damage, sealing a fantastic 13-8 victory for the Rangers!
