The Cubs' relief pitcher, Hodge, was called in to seal the deal in the top of the 9th inning. He proved to be absolutely no-nonsense, striking out Joey Gallo and Drew Millas looking, followed by an easy ground out from Darren Baker. As Hodge recorded that final out, it was a massive exhale and celebration for all Cubs fans! 🥳👏
