A Rough Start but a Sweet Finish 
What a game, Phillies fans! 
The matchup against the Kansas City Royals started with a bit of a scare as Salvador Perez hit a two-run home run in the first inning, putting us down 0-3. It looked like it might be a tough night at Citizens Bank Park 
. But our boys responded superbly! Brandon Marsh came through with a key double to bring in two runs, narrowing the gap to 2-3 by the end of the first inning.Corey Schwarber's Smash and Stellar Teamwork!
Kyle Schwarber brought the fireworks in the fifth inning with a massive homer to the right—it's always thrilling to see those balls fly!
He started a chain reaction that saw Nick Castellanos and Otto Kemp step up, executing a series of smart plays and bringing more runs home, ending the inning with us leading 6-4. Our offense was clicking and our defense was standing strong, shaking off the Royals' attempts to come back.Holding Strong and Sealing the Victory 
The Royals tried to mount a comeback, but our bullpen held them off. Fans watched as Jonathan India managed a double and Carter Jensen brought him in, precariously shortening our lead to 8-6. However, our pitchers delivered when it mattered most. In the ninth inning, Jhoan Duran confidently closed the deal with three quick outs, sealing our victory.Go Phillies!
