️
The game started with a bang for the Mariners in the first inning. After a rocky start, Jorge Polanco came through for us with a clutch double to right field, bringing in Cal Raleigh and Julio RodrĂguez to put us on the board with a 2-0 lead. This early momentum set the tone for the rest of the game and showed off the strength of our lineup.Back-and-Forth Action
The Angels responded in the second inning and tied the game 2-2 with a homer from Jo Adell. But don't worry, Mariners fans, we didn't let them stay tied for long. Our hero, J.P. Crawford, smashed a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to regain the lead at 3-2. His shot to right center field showed once again that he's a force to be reckoned with!
Sealing the Deal
In the bottom of the fifth, Josh Naylor came in clutch with a single to right, allowing Cal Raleigh and Julio RodrĂguez to score, extending our lead to 5-2. The bullpen then did an exceptional job, holding the Angels to just one more run from a Taylor Ward homer in the 9th inning. The Angels couldn't break through our strong pitching lineup featuring Matt Brash sealing the game with a solid strikeout to close out the ninth.Mariners Pride
This win is a testament to the grit and determination of our Mariners team. From the electrifying plays of Julio RodrĂguez to Cal Raleigh getting on base by any means necessary, our boys showed what it means to represent Seattle.
