Dominant Pitching to Start the Game 
We had quite the pitching duel in the first few innings, with both teams putting up zeros on the board. The Athletics managed to get a man on base in the 2nd inning, but our pitching staff kept them in check. Kudos to our starter for keeping the pressure on! 
Getting on the Board in the 4th Inning 
Finally, in the bottom of the 4th inning, we got some action! Ketel Marte drew a walk and Joc Pederson moved him to third with a single. Then, Christian Walker stepped up and delivered an RBI single to bring Marte home. We were on the board! 1-0, Diamondbacks! 
A's Tie it Up, But Not for Long!
The Athletics managed to tie the game in the top of the 5th with a solo home run by Zack Gelof. But that was all they could muster, thanks to our solid defensive play. We held them at 1-1 until we could respond.
Breaking the Game Open in the 7th Inning 
The 7th inning was where we took control. It all started with Randal Grichuk getting hit by a pitch. Corbin Carroll and Ketel Marte followed with a double and a walk, respectively, setting up a prime scoring opportunity. Blaze Alexander then came through with a clutch 2-run single! Christian Walker added another RBI single to extend our lead to 4-1. What an inning! 
Adding Insurance in the 8th Inning
We weren't done yet! In the bottom of the 8th, Eugenio Suárez walked and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Jose Herrera executed a perfect sacrifice to get Suárez to third. Geraldo Perdomo then doubled to left to bring Suárez home, making it 5-1, Diamondbacks.
Shutting the Door in the 9th Inning 
Paul Sewald came in to close it out in the 9th. He struck out Kyle McCann, got Tyler Nevin to ground out, and struck out Zack Gelof to seal the victory. What a finish! 
Final Thoughts
This was a great team effort. Our pitching was dominant, and we had timely hitting when it mattered the most. Huge shoutout to Blaze Alexander and Christian Walker for their clutch performances. Let's keep this momentum going, D-backs fans!
