Both teams played excellent defense, with multiple innings resulting in no subsequent score changes. Our pitchers did a fantastic job, ensuring the Twins couldn’t get too comfortable at the plate. Collin Snider, Angel Zerpa, and Kris Bubic stepped up, refusing to give the Twins any ground. The Twins, on their part, were equally as adept on the defense until the bottom of the 8th.Decisive Play in the 8th Inning
The defining moment came in the bottom of the 8th inning when Bobby Witt Jr. once again showcased his grit, reaching first on a throwing error and then hustling his way to third. Daniel Lynch IV then thundered out to close the 9th innings, ensuring that the Twins wouldn’t get another chance to strike back.Closing Thoughts
