A Pitcher's Duel Until the 7th
It's always a nail-biter when the Arizona Diamondbacks face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and last night's game was no exception!

As both teams grappled for control through the first six innings, it seemed neither could break through with a crucial run. Our starting lineup had no luck initially, as
Geraldo Perdomo,
Ketel Marte, and
Corbin Carroll were retired in order. The Dodgers mirrored this with
Shohei Ohtani and
Mookie Betts posting outs, proving it was going to be a pitcher's duel early on!
The Magic of the 7th Inning
The game took a thrilling turn in the top of the 7th inning thanks to
Corbin Carroll!

His home run to right-center ignited our offense and put the D-backs on the scoreboard. But we weren't done yet!
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and
Blaze Alexander followed with doubles, priming the stage for a dramatic sequence where both scored due to fielding errors by the Dodgers!

By the end of our action-packed inning, we surged ahead with a 3-0 lead.
Securing the Victory in Style
While the Dodgers managed a solitary run due to
Mookie Betts delivering an RBI single, our relievers held firm. Then came the top of the 9th, where the Diamondbacks effectively slammed the door shut!
Ildemaro Vargas pulled through with an epic 423-foot home run to right-center field, bringing home both
Alexander and
Tyler Locklear. Talk about a clutch performance!

By the time the dust settled, we firmly controlled the game, sealing a satisfying 6-1 victory over our rivals. Let's keep riding this wave, Diamondbacks fans!
