This team showed incredible grit and determination, battling through the pressure. Onto the next game with our spirits high and confidence soaring! Keep cheering for our crew!

Strong Start for the Brewers
The Brewers wasted no time putting runs on the board. In the 1st inning, after a double by our catcher, William Contreras, and a single from Christian Yelich, Andrew Vaughn hit a sacrifice fly to bring the first run home. A couple of innings later, Contreras came through again in the 3rd with a monstrous 441-foot home run, driving in Brice Turang after he'd drawn a walk. This put us up 3-0!

Diamondbacks Rally, But Brewers Hold Firm
Despite a robust start by the Brewers, the Diamondbacks didn't back down. In the 4th inning, Gabriel Moreno hit a three-run homer which narrowed our lead. But our boys sustained their efforts with Turang's two-run homer in the 6th, bringing our lead comfortably to 8-3.

Clutch Finish
Onward to the nail-biting 9th inning, when it was all or nothing. With the game tied, Contreras began things with a single and our speedster Brandon Lockridge came in to pinch run. Yelich and Vaughn each drew walks to load the bases, leading to the crucial moment. It was Isaac Collins' sacrifice fly that delivered the winning run, pushing Lockridge across home plate!
