An Early Lead for the Diamondbacks
Hey Yankees fans! Despite a stunning effort from our boys, the game ended with a tough loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The first few innings were quiet, but the game came to life in the 3rd when Corbin Carroll hit a two-run homer for the Diamondbacks.
The Yankees Fight Back
Our Yankees weren't going down without a fight!
Jasson DomÃnguez quickly answered back with a long ball of his own in the bottom of the 3rd, followed by a homer from Anthony Volpe in the 4th. An error by the Diamondbacks allowed us to snatch an extra run, giving us a 4-2 lead at the end of the 4th inning. 
Late-Inning Drama
Unfortunately, the 8th inning brought heartbreak, as the Diamondbacks rallied with a four-run homer from Eugenio Suárez, propelling them to a 7-4 lead. Our very own Ben Rice blasted a solo home run in the 9th, but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.
Final score: Diamondbacks 7, Yankees 5. 
Despite the loss, there were bright spots tonight. Let's keep believing in our team and look forward to bouncing back next game. #GoYankees
