Diamondbacks Triumph in the Bronx

What a thrilling game for us Arizona Diamondbacks fans! We march into the Yankees' backyard and come out victorious with a 7-5 win! 🙌🏼🌵

Early Action and Carroll's Homer

Things started off slow, with both teams unable to score during the first two innings. However, in the top of the 3rd inning, Corbin Carroll stepped up, smashing a two-run homer, sending Geraldo Perdomo and himself around the bases to give us the early 2-0 lead. This young star is proving to be a diamond in the rough for us! 💎💪🏼

Yankees Fight Back But We Stand Tall

The Yankees made it tough, managing to even the score at 2-2 in the 4th inning. They even took a 4-2 lead following some errors in our defense, but we didn't let it shake us. Our supporters were certainly on edge, but we had faith in our team's relentless spirit! 😊🙏🏼

Suarez's Heroics in the 8th Inning

Just when the game seemed to slip away, Eugenio Suárez answered with an electrifying grand slam in the 8th inning, bringing home Carroll, Ketel Marte, and Pavin Smith! That majestic swing turned the tide and secured an insurmountable 7-4 lead for us. 🎉⚾

Closing It Out

Our pitchers held their nerves and managed to keep the Yankees at bay, with Puk closing it out despite a late homer by Rice in the 9th inning. 🎯

What a fantastic team effort—this is exactly the kind of grit and determination we love to see from the D-backs! Onward and upward! 🌟💪🏼
