A's Rise Above Diamondbacks for a Well-Earned Win! 
Hey Athletics fans! It's always a sweet day when we come out victorious, and today was exactly that! The Athletics took on the Arizona Diamondbacks and delivered a solid 4-2 win at home. Let's walk through the highlights of the game!Early Defensive Standoff 
Both teams were off to a slow start in the first inning, with neither breaking the ice. Our guys, Lawrence Butler and Brent Rooker, tried to kick things off with fly outs, but the Diamondbacks matched us on defense to keep it scoreless. Kudos to our defense too, keeping the D-backs at bay with three outs right away!The Second Inning Springboard
The game's excitement skyrocketed in the bottom of the second when Shea Langeliers doubled to right, and Zack Gelof brought him home with a single.
Zack's hustle didn’t stop there as he pulled a daring steal attempt only to get caught stealing at second. But here comes the boom - Nick Kurtz smashed a home run, launching the ball 444 feet into center field! 
Diamondbacks Catching Up
Our defense had a hiccup in the third inning with some help from the A's error allowing the D-backs to score their first run. With the score at 2-1, we felt the pressure, but the A's pitcher, along with our stellar defense, ensured that they wouldn’t get much further.Securing the Lead
Momentum was with us in the sixth inning when Jacob Wilson confidently sent a homer flying to left field, extending our lead to 3-1! Then, young powerhouse Daniel Susac stepped up in the seventh and whacked another homer to right field! What a way to debut with lightning in the bat!
Closing the Game
The Diamondbacks didn’t stay silent and made a last-ditch effort in the eighth with a solo homer from Ryan Waldschmidt. Our pitcher held his nerve, and after some clean fielding, the score held at 4-2 going into the ninth. Drew Swift and the defense wrapped it up beautifully with a classic double play, ensuring our win.
