Heartbreaker in San Francisco 
Hey D-Backs fans, this one stings a bit. We kicked off strong against the Giants, but ultimately fell short with a final score of 2-3.Early Lead for the D-Backs 
The game started on a promising note. Geraldo Perdomo singled to left, followed by Corbin Carroll walking to first. Josh Bell’s infield single, coupled with a throwing error by the Giants’ shortstop Tyler Fitzgerald, allowed Perdomo to score. We were up 1-0! 
Another big moment came when Carroll managed to score on a passed ball, putting us ahead 2-0 right in the first inning.Strong Defense in Early Innings 
We managed to hold the Giants scoreless for the first three innings, thanks to solid pitching and defense. The Giants couldn't capitalize with runners on base, which kept our early lead safe.Giants Strike Back in the 4th Inning 
The fourth inning was a rough one for us. After Michael Conforto and Matt Chapman got on base with a single and a double, respectively, Patrick Bailey hit a two-run single that tied the game at 2-2.Struggling to Regain the Lead 
Despite having runners in scoring position, we couldn't manage to bring anyone home. Christian Walker had a promising double in the 8th inning but we just couldn't capitalize on it. Jorge Barrosa's sacrifice got Walker to third, but strikeouts by Eugenio Suárez and Jake McCarthy left him stranded there.Nail-Biting 9th Inning 
The bottom of the 9th started rough with Tyler Fitzgerald singling and then stealing second. Unfortunately, Patrick Bailey hit a ground-rule double that brought Fitzgerald home, leading to our 2-3 defeat. Final Thoughts
We showed a lot of heart and had some great moments, especially in the first inning. But leaving runners stranded and not being able to capitalize on scoring opportunities really hurt us today. Let's regroup and come back stronger, D-Backs!
