Tough Loss, But a Fight to the End!
Hey Diamondbacks fans!
Even though the final score was 4-3 in favor of the Cardinals, our boys gave it a right old chase till the very last inning. Battle of the Bats
It took until the 4th inning for us to get on the board. Kudos to Ketel Marte for blasting a solo homer deep to center field, giving us an early lead of 1-0!
But after some gutsy plays by the Cardinals, like Nolan Arenado’s bases-clearing triple in the 6th inning, we fell behind. Never Giving Up!
Just when hope seemed glum, pinch-hitter Gabriel Moreno entered and hit a clutch two-run homer in the 9th inning, bringing us within a whisker of tying it up.
It's moments like these that make us proud to be D-Backs fans, seeing the fight to the finish! We may have come up short tonight, but this team’s spirit is undeniable. Stay pumped, keep showing your support, and as always, Go D-Backs!
