A Rollercoaster of Emotions
Fellow Diamondbacks fans, what a heart-thumping game
Early Diamondbacks Dominance
We came out swinging! The top of the 2nd inning was glorious. Tyler Locklear got the party started with a 402-foot bomb to left field. Later, Alek Thomas doubled, followed by Jake McCarthy doing the same at the start of the 3rd inning. Then came the fireworks from Corbin Carroll, with a 349-foot homer that brought McCarthy home. If that wasn't enough, Geraldo Perdomo launched a 395-foot homer, taking Ketel Marte with him.

Blaze Alexander continued the show in the 6th, hitting yet another homer to increase our lead to 6-1. Everything was looking peachy

The Table Turners
Ah, but baseball is unpredictable. The bottom of the 6th saw Wyatt Langford turn up the heat with a 3-run homer for the Rangers, reducing our lead to 6-5. A throwing error and some tense Ranger at-bats tightened the game. We remained hopeful, yet the 9th inning dealt a harsh blow. Rowdy Tellez hit a solo shot to tie things at 6-6, dealing a crushing blow to our hopes.Extra Inning Heartbreak
Sending us into the 10th inning, tied, was nerve-wracking. We couldn't get any momentum offensively, and there were tense moments as they loaded the bases. Sam Haggerty hit a flyout that advanced a runner, and a single from Jake Burger sealed our fate and let the Rangers walk off with the win.A tough loss, but we showed incredible resilience, and our bats were hot! Let's take that energy into the next game, D-backs!
