Diamondbacks' Triumph ⚾🌵

What a game, fellow D-backs fans! We secured a 6-4 victory against the Nationals, and it was a rollercoaster from the start. Corbin Carroll was the star, launching two homers—one of which was a monster 414 feet—and delivered a crucial performance that energized our bats.

Early Nail-Biter

The game started off tense, with Ketel Marte hitting a double in the first, allowing Garrett Hampson to score off a single by Josh Naylor. Unfortunately, C.J. Abrams answered with a homer in the bottom of the first, and a two-run homer by Luis García Jr. pushed the Nationals ahead, 3-1.

Momentum Shifted Back to AZ 🌟

Our hopes were reignited in the 3rd inning when Carroll hit his first homer of the game. Fast forward to the 5th inning, and we're taking the lead, thanks again to Carroll's majestic second homer, bringing Geraldo Perdomo around the bases. Late-game heroics by Randal Grichuk with a clutch double in the 7th brought Hampson and Perdomo home, giving us a well-earned edge.

Closing It Out and Celebrating the Win 🙌

The bullpen shined in the late innings, with fantastic pitching by Martinez who sealed the win for us in the 9th. Perdomo's late hustle on the bases and efficient pitching ensured that the Nats stayed at bay. It's victories like these that show the resilience and grit of our Diamondbacks. Let's keep this momentum rolling, onwards and upwards, D-backs! 🎉🥳
