Great Start for the Braves!
The Braves came out swinging in the top of the 1st inning! Michael Harris II got things started with a single to right, followed by Ozzie Albies doubling to left. Our heavy hitter, Marcell Ozuna, then brought them both home with a double. We were up 2-0 early, but unfortunately, Matt Olson, Austin Riley, and Travis d'Arnaud couldn’t keep the momentum going. Nevertheless, a solid start!Pitching Dominance
Give it up for our pitchers today! Despite Baltimore's Gunnar Henderson trying to get things going with a single and stolen base in the bottom of the 1st, our pitchers shut them down with clutch outs from Adley Rutschman, Ryan O'Hearn, and Anthony Santander. Solid defense held the Orioles scoreless through the first six innings!Extending the Lead in the 4th
In the 4th inning, Adam Duvall kicked things off with a single, followed by an error from Baltimore's defense that allowed Michael Harris II to reach. Ozzie Albies then knocked in Duvall to give us a 3-0 lead. Every little bit counts, and this run gave us a much-needed cushion! Nice job, Albies!Bats Are Hot Again in the 6th and 7th
Orlando Arcia came up big in the 6th inning, doubling to left to bring Jarred Kelenic home. We were up 4-0, and it felt great! However, the Orioles finally managed to get on the scoreboard in the 7th inning when Kyle Stowers hit a 3-run homer. But, no need to fear - we still held a narrow 4-3 lead.Closing it Out in Style!
On the top of the 9th, Ozzie Albies doubled, and an error put Michael Harris II on base. They both eventually scored due to some heads-up baserunning and a wild pitch by the Orioles' pitcher. Matt Olson then added another RBI double, extending our lead to 6-3. It was smooth sailing from there! Raisel Iglesias closed out the bottom of the 9th without much trouble, securing our well-earned victory.Final Thoughts
A fantastic effort by our Braves! From Ozzie Albies and Marcell Ozuna driving in crucial runs to our solid pitching and defense, it was a team effort all the way. Ending the game with a 6-3 victory felt incredible. Let's keep this momentum rolling! Go Braves!Final Score: Braves 6, Orioles 3
