Braves Start Strong with Power Hits!
️
What a way to start the night for our Atlanta Braves! The bats were smoking hot in the first inning as Matt Olson crushed a massive 393-foot homer to center, bringing home Austin Riley who impressively reached base on a walk. Not to be outdone, Marcell Ozuna followed with an electrifying 417-foot blast to left center.Solid Performance in the Middle Innings
The boys didn't stop there! In the 3rd inning, Drake Baldwin added to the run tally, belting his own 416-foot homer to right, plating Ozuna and increasing our lead to 5-0. Our defense kept the pressure on, with consecutive outs securing our advantage despite a slight hiccup in the 3rd when Jarren Duran homered for the Red Sox. By the 4th, Riley added another run, putting us ahead 6-2. Things were looking stellar!A Tough Finish
As we moved into the final innings, the Red Sox fought back. Their lineup chipped away at our lead, leading to a tense 8th inning where they tied the score at 6-6. Going into the bottom of the 9th, our hopes were high, but the prowess of Rafael Devers clinched it for Boston with a walk-off homer. The game ended 6-7. Although not the result we wanted, we have so much to be proud of, Braves Nation. Let's bounce back stronger next game! Scoreboard for Braves @ Red Sox (May 17th, 2025)
