Things started a bit slow in the first two innings with neither team hitting the scoreboard. Our ace on the mound kept things under control, and our defense was solid, particularly in the first inning when Ronald Acuña Jr. struck out swinging!
In the bottom of the third, the magic happened: Kevin Alcántara hit a single followed by Nico Hoerner's single, setting the stage. Then, Kyle Tucker stepped up and blasted a monster home run to left center, bringing in three runs!
Not long after, Ian Happ added another run with a clutch infield single. By the end of the third inning, we were flying high with a 4-0 lead!Braves Fight Back, But Our Defense Holds! 
The Braves attempted a comeback in the fourth inning after Matt Olson tripled and scored on a wild pitch, followed by Ozzie Albies sending one over the left field fence. The pressure was on, especially after Eli White hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, narrowing our lead to 4-3. But our bullpen came through in the clutch moments, maintaining our edge throughout the game's critical final innings.Closing It Out 
Right down to the wire, the Braves kept knocking on the door. Hayden Wesneski pitched brilliantly in the eighth, and in the ninth inning, Miguel Palencia came in with ice in his veins and shut things down by getting the last out with tension high and the tying run threatening on third base. Special kudos to our defense that kept Luke Williams from scoring after he stole second and then advanced to third.A game that had everything - stellar pitching, timely hitting, and good old Chicago grit! Thanks to all the loyal supporters who cheered in the stands and from home. Another win in the books for our beloved Cubs!
