Royals Start Strong with Early Lead
Hey Royals fans! What a thrilling night at Kauffman Stadium as we hosted the Braves. Right off the bat, Vinnie Pasquantino got us going with a massive solo homer to right field in the first inning, launching it 412 feet! This was just the spark the Royals needed to set the tone for the evening.

Middle Innings Drama and Dominance
The Braves tried to turn the tide in the 6th inning when Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna powered through with home runs, bringing them back into the game. But not to worry, Royals nation – our boys knew how to respond! In the bottom of the 6th, with some stellar base running and a clutch double from Kyle Isbel, we raked in 5 decisive runs to extend our lead to 9-3. Bobby Witt Jr. added to the excitement with some fancy footwork, stealing second and scoring thanks to Vinnie Pasquantino's ground-rule double. The energy was palpable!
Closing it Out with Style
The Braves didn't give up, trimming our lead to 9-6 by the 8th inning. But Royals closer, Carlos Estévez, came in stylishly to secure the win in the ninth. With quick reflexes and solid defense, he shut down the Braves, and we cruised to a satisfying 9-6 victory. It's always heartwarming to see our Royals pulling together, delivering thrilling plays, and bringing home the victory. Fate was on our side tonight, and it was a game to remember! Way to go, Royals!
