Strong Start for the Braves
The game kicked off with our Braves taking an early lead. After Marcell Ozuna walked and a fortunate fielding error by the Dodgers' Max Muncy, we managed to score our first run with Ozuna crossing the plate. Matt Olson then doubled, bringing in Ozzie Albies and allowing us to build a robust 2-0 advantage by the end of the first inning. The top of the second saw the Braves continue the momentum with Albies doubling and driving in Stuart Fairchild and Eli White. Olson's second hit of the night further extended our lead to 5-0. Great start, Braves!

Dodgers Begin to Fight Back
Despite our formidable start, the Dodgers found their rhythm in the second inning. Tommy Edman hit a two-run homer, cutting our lead 5-2. The Braves' defense held strong until the fourth inning, where another homer from Michael Conforto added a third run for the Dodgers. This chipping away at our lead reminded us that the Dodgers wouldn't go down without a fight. Still up, 5-3, and it was starting to get intense!

Nail-Biting Finish
The game took a tense turn in the eighth inning. With two outs, Max Muncy doubled, allowing the Dodgers to tie the score at 5. Unfortunately for the Braves, the ninth inning saw the renowned Shohei Ohtani deliver a game-winning homer for the Dodgers, leaving us with a heartbreaking 6-5 loss. A tough finish! Despite the loss, our Braves showed their mettle and kept the game close throughout. Great effort from our boys and we'll come back stronger next game! Let's go, Braves!
