Fantastic Start for the Braves!

What a stellar start to the game for our Braves! 🎉 After Ronald Acuña Jr. drew a walk in the top of the 1st, Marcell Ozuna wasted no time showing his prowess with a double to right field, bringing Acuña Jr. home for an early lead. It was clear from the very first inning that Atlanta was here to play! 💪 The Marlins tried to respond but couldn't capitalize, leaving us ahead 1-0.

Solid Defense and Strategy

Our pitchers were in top form today, preventing Miami from making any significant offensive plays through the middle innings. Notably, in the bottom of the 2nd, the Marlins' Connor Norby was struck out, and Dane Myers grounded into a double play, snuffing out their attempt to score. Meanwhile, Acuña Jr.'s double in the top of the 5th set up Austin Riley to drive him home, giving us a 3-0 score. It was a team effort on both sides, one that's been keeping us at the top of the standings! 👊

Finishing in Style!

Into the ninth inning, Ronald Acuña Jr. walked, setting the stage for fireworks from Drake Baldwin! After the Marlins intentionally walked Marcell Ozuna, Baldwin blasted a 398-foot homer to right-center field. The crowd at LoanDepot Park was stunned into silence while our Braves stretched the lead to a commanding 7-0 😁. Defensive mastery from the bullpen wrapped things up, with Montero closing out any hopes the Marlins had left.

A magical 7-0 victory for the Braves! Let's keep this momentum rolling as we continue on our journey to the postseason! 🎊 Go Braves!
