Tough Day at the Plate for the Crew
Oh boy, Brewers fans, it was a tough one to swallow today against the Braves. Despite high hopes coming into the game, our bats couldn't muster the magic needed to overcome Atlanta.Early Blows from the Braves
The game started with a little bit of hope as Brice Turang and the infield handled the Braves' attempts fairly well, keeping them scoreless at first. Our hearts took a turn when Michael Harris II launched a 413-foot homer to right field in the 2nd inning, bringing in two runs, setting the tone early on.
Hoskins Hits, but Brewers Struggle
Despite the tough start, Rhys Hoskins lifted our spirits with a crushing 396-foot home run in the bottom of the 2nd!
Battling On but Falling Short
As we pushed through the innings, our guys had a couple of chances but just couldn’t capitalize as much as we wanted. Eric Haase pitched in with an RBI double in the 8th to help us climb back a little, but the Braves kept the pressure on. Our crew kept swinging, but it wasn't our day. We fell 6-2, with the Braves showing off their resilience and power.
Keep your heads up, Brewers fans! Baseball is a game where a fresh chance is just around the corner. Let’s get ’em next time!
