Disheartening Day at the Park
Fellow Brewers fans, today we witnessed our team give it their all, but ultimately fall short against the Atlanta Braves with a final score of 7-1. An exciting start was the highlight of our day, as Jackson Chourio and Joey Ortiz showed great promise, but unfavorable turns later in the game had us yearning for more. Let's recap what went down.
Quick Lead!
The game began on an exhilarating note with Joey Ortiz doubling to right, setting the stage for a run-scoring opportunity. William Contreras came through, driving in Ortiz with a single to center.

Braves Strike Back and Pull Away
Unfortunately, the Braves' bats came alive in the fifth inning. A home run from Ronald Acuña Jr. tied the game, and shortly thereafter, Matt Olson smashed a two-run homer to give them the lead. As they piled on the pressure, our bullpen was challenged, and despite Hall and Anderson putting up a fight, the Braves extended their lead further. White's 8th inning homer to left center widened the gap.End of the Line
The late innings were tough to handle as the Brewers struggled to string together the needed hits. Despite promising moments, like Turang's walks, our hitters were unable to capitalize, with Hoskins, Cameron, and Frelick unable to break through against the Braves’ bullpen in the crucial final innings.
Though today was tough, let's not lose heart, Brewers faithful.
