Dominating the Middle Innings
A brief scare came along in the 4th inning when the Braves tied it up at 5-5, but Brandon Nimmo restored the order with a thrilling 387-foot homer, scoring three more and putting us back in the lead 8-5. In the later innings, Mets fans saw why we have so much faith in our pitching and fielding units. Mets relievers locked it down, and though the Braves had a few men on base, they couldn't convert those into runs. Kudos to the players for a fantastic performance and to the fans for the amazing support. Let's keep this momentum rolling! Let's go Mets!
