Game Summary
Hey there, fellow Mets fans!
What a rollercoaster game against the Braves tonight. We saw some stellar moments and tough breaks in this tight contest at home. Let's break it down! Early Innings
We were off to a slow start with both teams keeping each other scoreless in the first two innings. Our own Francisco Lindor made a statement in the third inning by smashing a solo home run to center!
That put us on the board with a 1-0 lead. However, it didn't take long for the Braves to respond when Ozzie Albies homered to right center in the fourth, tying it up 1-1. 
Mid Game Thriller
Things heated up in the 6th inning! After a few good defensive plays and one run from Juan Soto, our team pulled ahead 3-2 thanks to a nifty sacrifice fly by Brandon Nimmo and a slick RBI single from Pete Alonso. Sadly, the tide turned again during the Braves' 8th, as Michael Harris II and Ozzie Albies put Atlanta back on top 4-3 with some clutch hits.
Tough Finish
Despite some chance-making hits from Francisco Lindor and an attempt by Starling Marte to spark off something in the 8th, the Braves held firm. Raisel Iglesias closed out the game for Atlanta, frustrating our lineup in the 9th. Final score: 4-3 Braves. A hard-fought game, but we'll surely rise again! LGM!
