Braves Start Slow but Finish Strong

The game started off with a struggle for our Braves. In the top of the 1st, Jarred Kelenic, Ozzie Albies, and Marcell Ozuna all struck out, setting the tone for a tough beginning. But we all know not to judge a game by its starting innings! 😊

Kelenic Breaks the Ice!

The action picked up in the top of the 3rd inning when Jarred Kelenic broke the ice with a solo homer to right center, putting us on the board! That home run injected some much-needed energy into the team 💥. We ended the inning leading 1-0, giving us a preview of things to come.

Big 5th Inning for the Braves

The top of the 5th was where the magic really happened. Ramon Laureano singled to center and Orlando Arcia followed with a double, placing runners in scoring positions. A sacrifice fly from Jarred Kelenic brought Laureano home, and a solid single by Ozzie Albies scored Arcia. By the end of the 5th, we were up 3-0 and flying high! 🚀

Yankees' Lone Run Doesn't Faze Us

In the bottom of the 6th, the Yankees managed to get on the board with Trent Grisham's single and Anthony Volpe's double, which made it 3-1. But guess what? Our pitchers held strong, and that was all the offense the Yanks could muster. Kudos to Fried, Johnson, Jiménez, and Iglesias for keeping them at bay! 🎯

Closing the Game in Style

The bullpen was clutch in the final innings. Jiménez and Iglesias shut the door with precision, striking out key Yankee batters and ensuring no further damage was done. The Braves finished the game strong, clinching a 3-1 victory.

This win feels great, especially against a formidable team like the Yankees! Let's carry this momentum forward, Braves fans! 😎🔥

Go Braves! 🎉
