It was a hard-fought match, and we didn't see the scoreboard light up until the 4th inning when the Phillies snuck in a homer. But, our Braves never gave up and came back fighting. Slow Start, Strong Finish
The game began quietly for both teams. Our guys, Jurickson Profar, Matt Olson, and Ronald Acuña Jr., had a tough time getting things going at the plate initially. But we kept ourselves in the game thanks to an impressive effort from our pitching staff that kept the Phillies stuck until the 4th inning when Brandon Marsh hit a solo homer for them.Braves' Heroics in the 9th!
Sure, it seemed like a pitcher’s duel through much of the game, but the Braves saved the best for last. Fast forward to the 9th inning, a crucial hit from substitute Jake Fraley got us started. Then came the magical moment when Drake Baldwin blasted a homer to left field, bringing Fraley home and securing the lead for the Braves. It was an electrifying moment that shifted the game in our favor!Closing it Out with Authority
The pitchers were on fire today! Credit to the Braves bullpen, particularly Iglesias, who expertly closed out the 9th inning and ensured the Phillies were silenced for good. A perfect ending to a nail-biting game that kept us on the edge of our seats!Overall, a great team effort that showcased determination and resilience. Keep up the momentum, Braves! Let's take this energy back home.
