Tension and Drama
The Cardinals fought back fiercely, leveling the score at 3-3 right after our initial lead, thanks to a two-run home run from their designated hitter, Nolan Gorman. The eighth inning was a test of nerves when the Cards capitalized on a wild pitch to balance the score again at 6-6.Securing the Win in the Ninth
With everything on the line, the ninth inning didn’t disappoint. Nacho Alvarez Jr. got us started with a single, and after a smart sacrifice bunt, pinch-hitter Drake Baldwin advanced Alvarez Jr. to third. Jurickson Profar came through, grounding out to secure the crucial run that put us back in the lead.Closing Out with Confidence
The bottom of the ninth had everyone on edge, but Raisel Iglesias delivered under pressure, smoothly getting three outs and sealing the victory for us.
